I found a you tube instruction on this so now I totally understand.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7514022972060460659.post-46987818377880022822009-12-22T19:57:12.791-08:002009-12-22T19:57:12.791-08:00It's an 11 st repeat: K3 (3 sts), K2tog (2 - 1...It's an 11 st repeat: K3 (3 sts), K2tog (2 - 1 = 1 st left), YO (1 new st), K1 (1 st), YO (1 new st), SSK (2 - 1 = 1 st left), K3 (3): 3 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 3 = 11. I think you are doing your SSK wrong, if you are still ending up with 3 sts. The SSK should take 2 sts and end up with 1. Hope this helps!yarnmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01637285551043493137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7514022972060460659.post-33101861498802215562009-12-22T14:20:03.581-08:002009-12-22T14:20:03.581-08:00I am having a problem with the lace pattern part. ...I am having a problem with the lace pattern part. I am coming up short of stitches on the last repeat. It appears to be a 12 stitch repeat. Shouldn't it be either an 8 or 11 stitch repeat? K(3) + K(2)tog + YO, K(1),YO + slip, slip knit (3) + K(3) = 12. 88/12 = 7.3 repeats doesn't it? Or am I just making this too complicated?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7514022972060460659.post-58741333339003516832009-11-09T13:03:14.365-08:002009-11-09T13:03:14.365-08:00Just what I was googling for!!! Then, when you are ready to begin decreasing, you knit to the marker, slip it to the right hand needle. The, use a SKP to decrease the stitch right after the marker. You will only decrease the one stitch at each marker. Then, you knit all the way to the next marker, and repeat the process around until you only have 4 sts left to make your i-cord. Hope this helps!Yarn Momnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7514022972060460659.post-30907645174684493542009-10-11T08:33:08.795-07:002009-10-11T08:33:08.795-07:00Love this pattern. Knit 22, decrease the next 22, knit 22, decrease the next 22? Had to pull it out and decrease normally. What did I miss?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
